Glenallachie Sherry wood er en af de mest kompromisløs tørre og ekstreme sherry-tøndeoplevelser, de har haft de seneste år, fyldig, kødfuld, yderst behagelig: Så ekstrem, at de var nødt til at flaske det i standardstyrke for at tæmme det lidt.
Smell and taste:
Oloroso sherryen er ikke til at tage fejl af, her er intense noter af sherry fadet sammen med nødder og rosiner, der kommer noter af figner og dadler sammen med balsamisk eddike noter.
Kommentar:
Hvis man er i tvivl om hvad Oloroso fadlagring kan gøre ved en whisky, så viser denne aftapning det bedre end de fleste.

Since 1992, Wilson & Morgan has offered a fine selection of rare independent bottlings of Scotch malt whisky. Wilson & Morgan only selects malts with an aging time of 10 to 30 years. The barrels are stored in countries all over the world. And in many cases they are further matured in port, rum or marsala casks in Italy. Everything is personally selected by Fabio Rossi, who follows a simple rule for his choices: "Trust your palate and your instinct." And it is probably because of this rule that his whiskeys are particularly attractive on the market today.
