Scent, Taste and Aftertaste:
Extremely smoky, ascetic, full of maritime notes and a distinct medicinal touch. It is a very clean malt as expected from Bunnahabhain, but at the same time pure "peat power". It has interesting vegetable herbs with rich notes of black licorice and gentian root. The aftertaste is particularly hot, peppery and long-lasting, with lingering smoke for several minutes after each sip.

A rare release from an ultra-smoky batch of Bunnahabhain, an Islay distillery famous for its usually unguarded single malts. What makes this bottling so much fun is that no compromises have been made with the smoke: it's obvious from the first sip that this is a pure celebration of all that Islay can pull from smoke.
