This rum in the Vikinger i Kystlandet series pays tribute to Prince Endlau, son of King Hjarne and Queen Alrune. Shortly after his birth, he got the island "Endelave" as his property. Prince Endlau is a young and brave prince, known for his skill as a warrior and for his intelligence and wisdom. He is also known for his courage and his ability to make the right decisions in difficult situations.

A young rum from the Dominican Republic has been chosen here, which with its young age has some edge, but deep down is both soft and sensitive. Which is the same thing you can say about the young prince who stood up for his father in his time of need.

The rum is a 5 year old rum from the Dominican Republic.

How did the series come about?

At Romdeluxe, they usually make bottlings at full cask strength, without added sugar and with a burst of flavor, but sometimes you have to do something different than what you usually do.

It has become 3 very different rums, each of which illustrates the person they pay tribute to and tells the story of the mythical Jutland and the three islands, Hjarnø, Alrø and Endelave, where it all started.

The idea for this series Vikings in the coastal region originated back in December 2022, they need a little cultural history injection. And went to a lecture called "The mythical Jutland" with the historian Casper Clemmensen, organized by Destination Kystlandet. With the desire to pay tribute to the brave warriors and shield maidens, the rum series was born "Vikings in the coastal region“.
