Tomatin Decades ll is truly a unique and special Whiskey which is composed of a total of 21 casks. All the casks are selected from special key years over the last five decades. It is a testament to the Tomatin way of life and the generations of staff who today remain the custodians of this extraordinary Scotch Whisky.

With time spent maturing in a blend of Scotch Whisky, ex-Bourbon, ex-Sherry and re-charred French oak from the last 50 years, Decades II is a rich and complex expression. With initial bursts of fruit giving way to hints of sweet pastry and wood shavings and aromas of both cooked fruit and floral coconut notes. The remarkable expression is erratic with notes of Christmas cake, maple syrup and fresh red berries giving way to tropical fruits before a long waxy tropical finish.

Graham Eunson, Distillery Operations Director at Tomatin said. “Balancing the flavor profiles in just a few casks can be a real challenge, so blending five decades of Tomatin whiskey in such a way. That each barrel complements the next is a testament to the team, both those who work at Tomatin today and those who have worked at Tomatin before us.
