The 2020 Distillers Edition from the Talisker distillery is double matured in ex-bodega Spanish Amoroso sherry casks (TD-S: 5WI). Characterizes strong smoky notes and a maritime character. A fruity sweetness combines with dry smoke and the peppery note typical of Talisker. Part of their 2020 Distillers Edition range - Limited quantities worldwide.

You can taste the typical Talisker sharpness and notes of heather, raisins and dry smoke. Peppery notes, ripe fruits, some cocoa and vanilla and moist earth complete the picture.

- Talisker Distillers Edition won Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2007 and 2008 and then Double Gold in 2009 and 2014.
- International Wine and Spirit Competition Gold in 2002 (trophy), 2003, 2004 and Gold (Best in Class) in 2005, 2006, 2008, 2009 & 2010.
- Gold at the International Spirits Competition in 2005, 2008 & 2013.
- Master at the Scotch Whiskey Masters in 2008 and Gold in 2010 and 2013.
- Best Island (non-Islay) Vintage Single Malt Whikey Whiskey Awards in 2007 and Best Island Single Malt again in 2013.
About Distillery:
Talisker Distillery was built in 1830 by Hugh and Kenneth MacAskill at Loch Harport. Talisker also means cliff and the distillery is the only one on the volcanic island of Skye.
The whiskeys from here are widely recognized for their quality and strength. The distillery's triple distillation ended in 1928. In 1960-62 the distillery was rebuilt after a fire. Subsequently in 1972, it was converted to steam heating.
