This Talisker 10 years Hot Chocolate set is the ideal companion for the cold winter evenings. The classic 10-year-old Talisker is perfect for the world's best Whiskey Hot Chocolate - it can also be enjoyed in an original Talisker mug.
Scent: Powerful peat smoke with just a touch of the seawater salt of fresh oysters, with a citrus sweetness.
Taste: A rich dried fruit sweetness, clouds of smoke, strong barley-malt taste, warming and intense. Peppery at the back of the mouth.
Aftertaste: Long, warming and peppery in the finish with an appetizing sweetness
The package contains:
- 20 cl. of the best lightly smoked Talisker 10 years Single malt
- 1 x Original Talisker mug
- NOTE: the set does not contain cocoa powder
How to make Talisker Hot Chocolate:
- 25 ml Talisker 10 years
- 30 ml boiling water
- 28 g cocoa powder
- 150 ml of milk
Mix everything together and top with 10ml maple syrup and a few small marshmallows on top!
About Distillery:
On the shores of the Isle of Skye, where rugged coastlines meet the raging sea, you'll find adventure in a bottle. Talisker single malt Scotch whiskey captures the elemental wildness and unadulterated beauty of its birthplace to give you a taste of Skye in every sip.
Talisker Distillery was built way back in 1830 by Hugh and Kenneth MacAskill at Loch Harport. Talisker also means cliff and the distillery is the only one on the volcanic island of Skye. The whiskeys from here are widely recognized for their quality and strength.
The distillery's triple distillation ended in 1928. In 1960-62 the distillery was rebuilt after a fire. Subsequently in 1972, it was converted to steam heating.
Although Tallisker is an old distillery, new whiskey comes out every year, New unique scent and taste experiences, a distillery you never finish.
