This Tasting Box contains wine from 3 of the major wine regions in Italy, Tuscany, Beneventano and Veneto. Wines that are very different but each with its own softness and character. All 3 go well with a wide range of dishes and can be enjoyed with the barbecue.
2 x Fiorino Toscana Rosso: is made from Sangiovese grapes mixed with Merlot and Cabernet. The grapes are harvested from fields in the Tuscany district, and the vinification is traditional. Fiorino Toscana Rosso has aged in oak barrels. Fiorino is wonderfully soft with velvety tannins and delicious aromas of cherry and blueberry with a bit of spice from barrel ageing. Goes well with many dishes, especially pasta, pizza and cheeses.
2 x Milianti Aglianico Beneventano IGT: is with an intense aroma of roses, red cherries, plums and notes of dark chocolate, where the taste is full with a hint of sweetness that helps to give the wine a good body with its many notes of dark black currants, chocolate and notes of tobacco. Delicious wine that many people like and that goes really well with almost all kinds of food.
2 x Baroncini Rosso Veneto: is intense red in a glass and in the aroma you encounter rich berry aromas, intensity and a delicious element of chocolate. In the taste, the notes from the fragrance come again and are experienced as full and silky with a nice spicy element and a long, persistent aftertaste. Baroncini is an obvious companion to Italian cuisine, a really good steak or the cheese board.
