Le Haut Païs Sauvignon Blanc

Le Haut Païs Sauvignon Blanc is attractively light in color with a light green touch. Lovely inviting aroma of fresh blackcurrant shoots and exotic fruits, a wine in good balance.

Smell and taste: The green touch sends up inviting scents of fresh blackcurrant shoots and exotic fruits. In the taste, there are citrus fruits together with peaches in a lovely fresh wine, where in the end there is light acidity together with exotic fruit.
Server for: Fish, salads or as an aperitif.

The wine:

Sauvignon Blanc Le Haut Païs is made from Sauvignon Blanc. Harvested in a field located in the region of Périgord Pourpre in southwestern France outside the famous town of Bergerac. The soil is clayey and calcareous. After maceration, which takes two to three hours, the grapes are pressed in a pneumatic press. The alcoholic fermentation takes place at 17-18 c to preserve the taste. The wine rests with the light sediment for two to four months, after which it ages in the traditional way in stainless steel tanks.
