Douglas Laing – Rock Oyster Island Blended Malt Whisky

Rock Oyster Island is a Small Batch, Blended Malt whiskey from Douglas Laing that pays tribute to the sea. This blended malt whiskey combines the tastiest and finest maritime Scotch malt whiskeys from the Isles of Jura, Arran and the Orkney Islands. A truly unique combination that only an established and highly respected independent bottler like Douglas Laing manages to combine.

It is a gem of the highest distilling and blending art and a real treasure and pleasure for the customer to be able to enjoy this unusual combination of different distillery products, also from different groups, in one bottle.

Scent: Lots of sea water with a salty sea-fresh influence.
Taste: Soft, sweet peat along with smoke, honey, moist ash, licorice and pepper.
Aftertaste: Long with peat smoke and fruit etc

It was bottled with a 46.8% alcohol and, as usual with Douglas Laing, without color additives and chill filtration.
