Port Dundas 20 years is a light and sweet distillate, the cask has added fullness and depth to the spirit.

Distilled 10 October 2000 and bottled 15 January 2021 cask no. 305297 first fill barrel.

The cask yield was a total of 156 bottles.

Port Dunda's 20 year flavor profile is vanilla wafers and oak tones with hazelnut praline and sweet baking spices.

Built on the highest point in Glasgow on the banks of the Forth & Clyde Canal, the brewery closed in 2010 and was demolished a year later.

All releases of the Lady of the Glen label are hand-bottled at natural cask strength without any chill filtration or colouring, meaning the original flavor remains unaffected and the finish is clean, rich and always unique.

Each bottle, along with its distinctive floral label and whisky, receives a hand-detailed number, making the bottles as individual as the whiskey they contain.

The Lady of the Glen whiskeys are a tribute to the long tradition of independent bottling in Scotland and of excellent and relaxed techniques that create a product that is both rare and special.

Origin:

Gregor Hannah's interest in the beauty of whiskey was awakened from an early age. His father, a Scottish piper, received bottles as a thank-you gift, to perform at parties such as weddings and Burns nights. These bottles created such a beautiful collection of colors and shapes, with intriguing names and intricate label designs, all rooted in Scotland, that Gregor developed a deep understanding of whisky.

Fast forward 25 years, while working in a bar, Gregor's passion for independent bottling was ignited. He gained knowledge of the history and methods of independent bottling which led him to start Lady of The Glen in 2012, an independently owned Scotch brand that hand buys and bottles rare single cask whiskeys from across Scotland.

Gregor was keen for the brand to embody the essence of Scotland while exuding a fresh modern feel – the Lady of Glen brand was worn – a tribute to the ghost of the Green Lady who purported to haunt Stirling Castle, and encapsulating the vibrant purple of the Scottish wildflower, evident in the delicate floral pattern that adorns the label today.
