Oban 21 years Cask strength is distilled at Oban in 1996 and bottled in 2018. Aged in European oak casks.

Scent: Maritime aromas that are warm and dry with a bouquet of scents such as menthol, fruit cake, brown sugar, lemon.
Taste: Intense and powerful with a creamy structure with sweetness and a little saltiness with toasted coconut, spearmint and menthol. Where in backgrounds comes
sweet hazelnuts and nougat.
Aftertaste: Warmth with menthol and smoke ending with ash and ginger.

Oban Distillery:

When brothers Hugh and John Stevenson arrived on the border of the Hebrides in 1793, they found little more than a natural harbor and a windswept vista. Here they opened the Oban Brewing Company, their 'Cowbell Ale' being the first production. The following year they began distilling whiskey. The company remained in the Stevenson family for three generations. The local merchant Peter Cumpstie bought the company in 1830. The railway came in 1880 in Oban it was good for Oban distillery with improved communication and transport. The distillery has changed hands over the years and seen the town grow around them.
In 1989, Oban 14 years was named a Six Classic Malt, representing the West Highlands. 

Oban today:

Is one of the smallest whiskey producers in Scotland. It is the key to the character of their production. When an expansion is not an option and neither is the quantity being made. The limited amount of whiskey that is made stands on quality, authenticity and heritage.
