Nyetimber Cuvee Cherie Demi-Sec 12%
Nyetimber Cuvee Cherie Demi-Sec is the English's most charming multi-vintage sparkling wine, combining elegance with a delicate sweetness. This wine is perfect for both savory food and festive occasions, and with its unique balance between freshness and sweetness, it is a real pleasure for the palate. Made from 100% Chardonnay and with a residual sweetness of 38 g/L, Cuvee Cherie is a crowd pleaser that is perfect for New Year's Eve or as an accompaniment to lightly spiced Asian dishes and delicate desserts.
Scent: A symphony of pure lemon, minerals, honey and a hint of tangerine. Fresh aromas of green and yellow apples with notes of peach, tropical juice, toast, almonds and walnut.
Taste: Lively and soft bubbles with a start of sweet lemon, balanced by a sharp acidity and a clean structure. Small notes of honey, lime and tangerine, together with a creamy mousse that highlights the taste of fresh apples and gives a round and sophisticated taste experience.
Aftertaste: Off-dry and long-lasting with a nice balance between freshness and sweetness. A soft and velor-like sweetness, which is flanked by a marked acidity, which ensures a lovely fullness in the mouth and a harmonious finish.

About the Manufacturer
Nyetimber is located in the heart of southern England, where limestone and sandstone-rich soil provides optimal conditions for the vines. Wine production in England goes back 2,000 years, with roots in the Romans and Normans. The cool climate of southern England ensures a slow ripening of the grapes, creating a perfect balance between acidity and ripeness. With climate change affecting traditional wine regions, English vineyards are thriving and the area under wine production has increased by 400% from 2004 to 2021.
Nyetimber was first mentioned in The Domesday Book from 1086, but it was not until 1988 that the first grapes – Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier – were planted. Eric Heerema took over the farm in 2006 and employed Cherie Spriggs and Brad Greatrix as winemakers. Nyetimber only uses hand-picked grapes from their own fields, which are personally inspected by Cherie and Brad. They use the classic Methode Traditionelle, and age the wines for longer periods to develop complexity.
Since the beginning, Nyetimber has won recognition and awards worldwide, and their wines often compete with the best champagnes. Nyetimber now covers almost ten percent of the total English wine area and is known for its high quality and innovative approach to wine production.
