Vintage Casks Series:

The Mossburn Vintage Casks range is a collection of Single Malt Scotch Whiskeys that are from a strictly limited and select batch of casks. Each release is individually numbered, which means that the number of bottles varies, although this means that we can never repeat the special character of the Single Malten, it gives us an opportunity to try, an extraordinary whiskey made from one of Scotland's most distinctive distilleries. This selected single malt has been bottled without dyes or chill filtration.

Manneochmore Distillery:

Mannochmore is a relatively recent addition to the area and collection. Built on the site of the Glenlossie distillery in 1971, it draws its water from the Bardon Burn – whose ancient beds and banks contribute to the whisky's straightforward personality.

The distillery was founded in 1971 by John Haig & Co. Between 1985 and 1989, production ceased and the distillery closed. Was reopened and in 1992 began producing a Mannochmore single malt. In 1996, the black Loch Dhu ("Black Loch" in Scottish Gaelic) single malt whiskey was introduced, and it has gained market favor despite (or because of) its rather unusual appearance and taste. After a brief re-closure in 1995, the distillery only produces for 12 months and then has a 12-month break alternating with the nearby Glenlossie distillery, with which they also share staff. Since 2008 the Mannochmore Distillery has been run year-round by its own staff, although the famous Loch Dhu has not been made since 1999.
