Gunlöd Organic Mead
Gunlöd is a sweet and fresh organic mead that has distinct notes of flower honey, followed by a fine acidity, as Gunlöd is brewed with a delicious unfiltered organic apple cider. Fermented and aged for a minimum of 12 months, it is excellent with cheeses and desserts, as well as fantastic as an ingredient in cocktails and welcome drinks.

Mead Organic Gunlöd is Danish Nature Brew's is brewed from old recipes that have been passed down through generations. They have taken these recipes and given them a Nordic, gastronomic boost, with today's best organic ingredients.
Danish Nature Brew's mead is hand-brewed in central Jutland, where pride is taken in brewing as naturally and environmentally friendly as possible.
Recipes:
Mead can be used in many drinks and many dishes.
Aperitif:
2 cl Gunlöd mead
10 cl Prosseco
2 ice cubes
Nordic G&T:
5cl Gin
10 cl Tonic Water
2 cl Mead
3-5 sea buckthorn berries
The juice from half an organic lime
A good handful of ice cubes
Nordic Mojito:
4 cl light rum
2 cl of mead
8-12 fresh organic mint leaves
1/2 fresh organic lime in wedges
crushed ice
Then add sparkling water and organic cane sugar as needed.
Lavender Hill:
5 ml maple syrup
20 ml bifrost
40 ml Talisker whiskey
2 dashes of Angostura bitters
1 strip of orange peel
1 sprig of lavender
Put ice cubes in a whiskey glass and fill it up with the liquid ingredients. Stir it all together well with a cocktail spoon. Press the orange peel over the glass and place it on top. Dip the lavender sprig into the drink and place it on top.
