Rose MIMI en Provence Vieilles Vignes
Mimi Rose is a fresh and full-bodied wine with a lovely balanced fruit flavor that has a hint of sweetness and spice, and which can be enjoyed on any occasion. The bottle is equipped with a practical and elegant glass stopper that eliminates the need for a corkscrew and can be reused several times.
Scent: Fruity with sweetness and spice with delicious hints of spring flowers and citrus
Taste: Pleasant and persistent with delicious hints of floral notes originating from the taste of crushed strawberry, lemon and watermelon.
Server for: With light meat, grilled fish or it can be enjoyed on its own because you feel like it.
Serving temperature: 8-10ºC.
Basically, just a fresh and well-balanced wine that leaves a pleasant and persistent aftertaste.
The wine:
Mimi Rosé is no exception. It is the result of the traditional grape composition in the AOP Côtes de Provence region, Grenache and Cinsault mixed with a touch of Syrah. Precisely the Syrah grape completes the fruity taste of Grenache and Cinsault.
The grapes for Mimi Rosé are grown along the Mediterranean coast, from the Sainte-Victoire mountain range in the west to the Haute Provence Alps in the east.
The area and the wine house:
Les Vins Bréban is a family owned and operated company which was established in 1952. The founder Raymond Bréban "discovered" the wines of Provence and decided to dedicate his life to the production and promotion of quality wines from Provence. In 1968, the son Jean-Jacques Bréban took over the management of the company, which is now managed by the 3rd generation, and the winery is run today according to the same principles as under the founder, i.e. with a focus on quality, authenticity and respect for both the land and the viticulture.
Wines from Provence get their characteristics from the soil and the wines are remarkable for their strong character combined with a delicate bouquet. Provence wines are often described as colourful, lively, aromatic, fruity and whimsical in nature.
