Martha's Pink Rose Gate

Martha's Pink Rose Port is more than a port, it is a refreshing wine that targets your senses. You will be presented with notes of red fruits and an intense and surprising character.

It is a wine made from a specific vinification process where the skins are in contact with the must for less than 48 hours, giving it an intense pink color. Aging takes place in stainless steel tanks to preserve the wine's young and fruity freshness.

Should be enjoyed chilled (8-12 degrees)

Cocktail recipes:

Pink Bubbles:
Fill half a glass with ice.
Add 40 ml of Martha's Pink Rose.
Add fresh or frozen berries (strawberries, raspberries).
Fill the rest of the glass with dry sparkling wine.
Possibly. add a mint leaf.

(Choose the sparkling style you like best! But we recommend using a dry one as it works incredibly well with the sweet port)

Cool Pink:
Fill a glass with ice.
Add 60ml Martha's Pink Rose and 40ml Sparkling Lemonade
Stir well and garnish with a slice of lemon and possibly red berries and mint.

Like Sparkling Lemon, we recommend – Three Cents Sparkling Lemonade

Pink & Stormy:
Fill a tall glass with ice.
Add 60 ml of Martha's Pink Rose.
Pour 40 ml of ginger beer and 15 ml of lime juice in the glass.
Stir well and garnish with a slice of lime.

About the Manufacturer:

Martha's Wine & Spirits was established in 1727, in the Douro Valley in Portugal, by the Marta's family with their first winery. In the beginning, the Marta family just produced grapes that were sold to other wine producers, but six generations ago they started the port wine production themselves. Everything from harvesting, production, bottling and commercialization they are responsible for themselves, they are what you can call a field to bottle company.

Today, they have a wide variety of primarily port wine, but Moscatel is also found in their range. There is undoubtedly a port wine for everyone in Martha's range.
