The Macallan Sherry Oak 18 years (2022 Release) is part of their Single Malt Sherry Oak series. A range of single malt whiskeys matured in handpicked sherry seasoned oak casks from Jerez for richness and complexity. A rich taste of ripe oak, ginger and raisins is complimented by a light mahogany natural color.
Scent: Dried fruits and ginger with hints of vanilla and cinnamon.
Taste: Soft and rich, with hints of spice, cloves, orange and toasted mature oak.
Aftertaste: Lingering with dried fruits, ginger and orange peel.
It is exclusively matured in Oloroso sherry seasoned oak barrels. Hailing from Jerez, Spain, their rich, fruity and full-bodied 'new make' spirit is transformed into an iconic single malt. Once full, the mature spirit remains undisturbed in the same casks for 18 years. Bring together in this rich and complex single malt characterized by ripe oak, ginger and raisin flavors.
