Rhum Orange Liqueur is a rum with an orange flavor – called a liqueur – although it is actually more of a rum or a liqueur. Made with well-aged Santa Teresa rum – our guess is mine. 5 years rum. Aged in American white oak casks, together with orange peels for another 2 years.
Scent: sweet orange, citrus, fresh, more mandarin/clementine, orange peel, fresh fruit and nice touch of the Santa Teresa rum.
Taste: tastes of Christmas, orange and dominant fruit juice.
Aftertaste: The rum tastes through, orange, spicy.
Neither sour, bitter nor nauseating - just right in the eye!
Santa Teresa is enjoyed as an aperitif or with desserts.
