Chateau La Vernede Rose Languedoc
La Vernede Rose Languedoc with its beautiful light pink color is both mild and fresh with medium sweetness in fine balance in the taste.
Server for: Salmon carpaccio, salads or as an aperitif on a summer day on the terrace.
Serving temperature: 8-10°C
The wine:
Rose from Languedoc is made from Syrah and Cinsault grapes. The grapes grow in the heart of Pinèdes.
The vines are young and were planted in 2017. The fields have clay and calcareous soils which have resulted in a lovely rosé that reflects the terroir.
The grapes are harvested and pressed, after which the alcoholic fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature and the wine matures in stainless steel tanks for three months.

Jean-Marc Ribet runs Château la Vernède with passion and pride and today the castle is a modern and competitive business with full focus on the future. The castle has been run by the family through several generations for over 100 years.
