Jinzu Gin Premium London Dry Gin

Jinzu Gin Premium is distilled in Cameron Bridge in Scotland in a traditional copper pot still, where Jinzu combines typical botanical gin with the exotic plants from Japan.

First comes juniper berries from Tuscany and coriander from Eastern Europe in copper pot stills. Then you add the Japanese plants, yuzu citrus and cherry blossoms, these are distilled up to 82%. It ultimately gives Jinzu its unique flavor, which is the heart of distilled Junmai sake. It is then diluted to its 41.3% with Scottish demineralised water.

Jinzu is a premium gin, made with notes of Japanese cherry and is distilled with Sake, which helps to give it a smooth and creamy taste.

Jinzu was created by British bartender Dee Danies for Diago's spirit competition in 2013 - Dee Danie's idea with the gin was that it should be different from others and at the same time represent herself, with her head in Great Britain and her heart in Japan. A British gin with a Japanese flavor where the botanical parts are British and Japanese inspired.

Dee Davies thoughts on the bottle design:

The bottle was designed by Jinzu's creator Dee Davies. The shape of the bottle partly reflects the original British gin jar, as well as the neck of the classic Sake decanters. The stopper is British craftsmanship made in Japanese cherry wood. The Japanese mejiro bird, holding the iconic British umbrella over the word Jinzu, to express it has its head in Britain but its heart in Japan.
