Irishman Triple Distilled Single Malt & Single Pot

Irishman Triple distilled is an award-winning and highly expressive blend of Irish Single Pot Still and Irish Single Malt whiskey.

Scent: Spicy lovely spices with black pepper and juicy with notes of ripe peaches.
Taste: You can clearly feel that there is a proportion of pot still whisky, with the completely characteristic spice taste. This unfolds together with a note of dark chocolate, and at the end you also feel the influence of the bourbon barrel, in the form of vanilla and sweet caramel, which is particularly prominent in the aftertaste.
Aftertaste: Oak and caramel.

Irishman Triple distilled used to go by the name “Founder's Reserve”. "The Harvest" which is a unique blend of Single malt and Single pot still Irish whiskey, of which the former makes up 70% while Single pot makes up 30%.

Once the green island was the largest producer of whiskey in the world, and the Irish still maintain that it was they and not the Scots who invented the golden drink. But due to a long series of problems with famine, the Prohibition period and an unwillingness to adapt to a changing market. The Irish Whiskey industry underwent a gradual but fatal collapse, with the result that by 1970 there were only two active distilleries left on the entire island.

Fortunately, things have started to turn around for Irish Whiskey. Many new distilleries are springing up all over the island these days. Walsh Whiskey, founded in 1999 by husband and wife Bernard and Rosemary Walsh, has set out to be the standard bearers of this Irish whiskey renaissance. They do this, among other things, with their two product lines of Irish Whiskey Writer's Tears and The Irishman.
