Graham's 20 year old Tawny Port is the result of the Master Blender's search for the perfect balance between young and old port wines. It is a port that has been perfected over twenty years to please those who pursue excellence.

Fragrance: Excellent bouquet with a characteristic nutty character and delicious ripe fruit. Hints of orange peel, exquisitely mellowed by careful aging.
Taste: Rich, soft sweet and smooth, perfectly balanced with a long and elegant finish.

Serve slightly chilled

Storage

Serve chilled between 12º and 16º in a reasonably sized port or white wine glass. It will stay healthy for four to six weeks once opened.

The company only traded in textile goods until 1820. Then a customer could not pay his overdue bill to the company's branch in Porto. They were therefore forced to accept 27 pipes of port wine as payment. The port was sold with great success and was encouraged to repeat the trade. The company quickly built up a good reputation within port wine.

At the end of the 19th century, Graham's was one of the largest shippers and most recognized port wines. Young Scotsman Andrew James Symington was employed by the company in 1882 and after a few years he moved on to the world of port wine. In 1970 Graham's had financial problems and had to add capital. Then Symington's grandchildren took the opportunity to buy the house.

The Symington family today has a very central position within the world of port wine and owns some of the best port wine houses. Today, it is the 5th generation that manages their port wine houses.
