Signatory, the independent bottler, present to us their only second release in the “Small Batch Edition” series – GlenRothes 2011, a 12 year Single Malt Whisky. Distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2023, this exclusive whiskey has spent its 11 years in a combination of Oloroso Sherry Fade and Bourbon Fade. And impresses with its natural color and lack of chill filtration, and it comes with an alcohol strength of 48.2 percent.

Scent: Treats the nose with notes of fruit and cakes. It also brings sweet honey and juicy raisins. Cinnamon sugar rounds off the aroma sweetly.
Taste: Full on the tongue – tastes of vanilla crescents. Malt comes through along with notes of honey and ginger.
Aftertaste: Long-lasting and finishes with toasted nuts and spicy oak. It also leaves stone fruits and cakes at the end.

About the Bottler

In 1988 Andrew Symington founded the “Signature Vintage Scotch Whiskey Company Ltd.” and since then has bottled exclusive casks from a large number of Scottish distilleries. His warehouse holds more than 10,000 casks – some from distilleries that no longer exist or that normally only produce whiskey for blends.

Signature Vintage continues to focus on single cask bottlings of Scotch whisky. For some of these "bottlings", two - rarely more - barrels are married together. The batches are therefore small and very limited. All bottles have precise information on the roasting and bottling dates as well as the casks.
