This is Batch 1 from GlenAllachie 1989 29 year old (Cask 100049) sherry butt. Specially selected for the European market. Very limited number of bottles of only 485 bottles
Scent: Here comes the scent with jam, bananas with sweetness and spices with hints of leather.
Taste: compote of bananas mix with mocha with a delicate note of oak.

Distilled 7/6/1989, bottled October 2018 with a total of 485 bottles.
Whiskey fans in the UK and around the world can now explore the full range of spirits created at The GlenAllachie Distillery with the release of a series of Single Cask Editions, which are the first batches of single bottles specially selected for different markets and retailers.
Master Distiller Billy Walker has personally selected a selection of casks that showcase the GlenAllachie spirit in a variety of ages, flavor profiles and cask types. Eight of the specially selected Single Casks will be available exclusively in the UK, with the rest being released in key export markets including Europe, Asia and the US.
About the distillery:
In the past, GlenAllachie, built in 1968, was primarily used to produce whiskey for blending. But Walker has carefully explored the distillery's stock for hand-picked casks that reflect the spirit spectrum being created.
He said: “When we bought GlenAllachie I had the great pleasure of going through our stock across warehouses and was delighted to discover a number of excellent casks.
“I've been in this business for a long time and there's no better feeling than sampling from single lids and discovering so many different flavors from so many different types of wood,
“The distillery produces a rich full-bodied spirit that works well across a variety of casks and ages. This is what I wanted to show with the range of dishes I have chosen for the UK and our export partners. With over 50,000 casks of GlenAllachie now in stock maturing across a wide range of wood styles, there is so much more to come. "
