Foursquare Touchstone 14 years Rum 61%

This 14 year Foursquare Touchstone represents the 22nd release in the Exceptional Cask Series from Foursquare Rum Distillery in Barbados. This release represents a unique fusion of collaboration and maturing art.

At the beginning of 2019, Foursquare secured ten exclusive dishes from the renowned cognac house Camus as part of their Caribbean Expedition Cognac program. After a year of valuable maturation, these casks were emptied and the noble cognac was sent back to its homeland in France. The casks were then carefully filled with a combination of vintage 2008 and 12-year-old ex-bourbon casks. The rum was then further matured for two years for more character and depth.

But the rum's maturation journey didn't stop here! Another dimension was added as it was blended with another 14 year old rum. A double maturation comprising 5 years in ex-bourbon casks followed by a further 9 years in an ex-cognac cask.

Foursquare Touchstone is a Single Blended Rum (rum from a Single Distillery with Pot and Column elements). It is a mix of light and heavy brands. As usual, the distillation, maturation and bottling have been carried out on site at Foursquare Distillery, Barbados.

Foursquare Touchstone has been bottled at 61% ABV and is free of additives or coloring.

About the Distillery

Foursquare Distillery is a rum distillery located on the southern Caribbean island of Barbados. It was founded by Richard Seale, a fourth generation rum producer and master distiller. The distillery is known for producing high-quality, hand-crafted rum using traditional distillation methods; and premium ingredients, such as locally grown sugar cane.

The distillery was re-opened by the Seale family in 1996, distilling operations and blending are currently managed by Richard Seale, 4th generation trader/distiller from RL Seale & Co.

Foursquare Distillery has earned a reputation for its exceptional rums and has won numerous awards and accolades from the international spirits community. Its product line includes a range of aged rums, including the popular Foursquare 2005 and Foursquare Premise, as well as limited edition releases that showcase the distillery's expertise and creativity.
