Fable 7 years 2022 Batch One is a Blended Maltwhisky that offers the taste of good malt with notes of citrus. The way malt whiskeys from the three distilleries play with each other is a sign of solid craftsmanship and a perfect harmony of whiskey that can be enjoyed neat or in a Whiskey Highball.
Composed of "Hound", "Crows" and "Moon" - in other words, it is the distilleries Mannochmore, Blair Athol and Dailuiane.
Tasting notes from Sprit & Co.'s whiskey ambassador, Tommy Oddmar Seilen:
Scent: Fruity apple/pear, citrus, rich malt and vanilla.
Taste: A harmonious multitude of Toffee and Butter Scotch, spicy malt, baked apples and is rounded off with vanilla.
Aftertaste: A slight dryness of malt, notes of white pepper and ginger. And finally taste of barrel/wood.
Fable:
Fable Blended Malts are far from ordinary. Grounded in the art of storytelling, illustration, animation and whiskey making, this first release of just 3000 bottles is a one-of-a-kind creation. These whiskeys bottled 7 years old, 46.5%, non-chill filtered and natural color. Aged for a minimum of 7 years in ex-bourbon casks and hogshead casks, creating a bold blend of malt with a dry spice finish.
