Dalmore King Alexander lll Single malt

Dalmore King Alexander lll is made in 6 different barrel finishes. All casks that each make their own contribution to this whisky.

Scent: Red berry fruits, fresh flowers with hints of passion fruit, hints of almonds and citrus fruits along with plums.
Taste: Warm with vanilla and citrus peel, cream caramels and crushed almonds together with hints of red berries.
Aftertaste: Cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger

6 different casks are used for Dalmore Alexander III to get the finest and world's first single malt created from a collection of six cask finishes.
Casks: Ex bourbon casks, Matusalem oloroso sherry casks, Madeira barrels, Marsala casks, port wine pipes and casks that have had Cabernet Sauvignon in them. Each cask gives its own flavor to King Alexander lll, which has created a sumptuous and layered whiskey with legendary finesse.

Dalmore Distillery:

The name Dalmore is Old Gaelic and means – The large meadow area. The distillery was founded in 1839 by Alexander Matheson. It lies off the coast at the Cromarty Firth. Here you can look out over the large meadow area on the Black Isle. The clean and clear water from the Alness river is used for Dalmore malt whisky. Every Dalmore whiskey that comes, everyone wakes up to new aromas and nuances of taste, each of their whiskeys has its own unique personality.
