Scent: The delicate bubbles flow up into the glass with raspberries and blackcurrants together with floral notes.
Taste: Straightforward and really pleasant with bubbles that emphasize the taste of fruit and give freshness to the wine. Due to the 14 months of aging and the fruity notes due to the Pinot Noir grape, this Crémant has a pleasant roundness.
Server for: Aperitif, starters and desserts with dark chocolate such as chocolate mousse or for a strawberry cake.

The wine:

Cremant D`Alsace Brut rose is made from a base wine made from Pinot Noir. After the traditional fermentation, the wine is stored in the bottle with sediment, and the bottles are slowly turned from a horizontal to a horizontal position, so that the sediment collects in the neck of the bottle and can be shot out during dégorgement, which is also used in the production of Champagne. The wine ages for 14 months instead of the 12 prescribed by law.

Alsace is one of France's most beautiful wine regions. It stretches from Strasbourg in the north to Mulhouse in the south and is bounded by the Rhine to the east and to the west by the low mountain range of the Vosges, which protects the area from the humid westerly wind. Alsace is from north to south approx. 130 km long, its width varies from only a few hundred meters to a few kilometers. The vineyards stretch up the Vosges from 400 to 600 meters above sea level.

Located in the heart of Alsace and not far from Colmar is the winery Bestheim, which owns Lentz and is one of the leading producers in Alsace. Their vineyards are mainly on slopes and have a unique microclimate with good sun exposure. The vineyards are cultivated with the utmost respect for the environment, and the winery does what they can to avoid erosion, prevent the soil from being exhausted and ensure the strength of the vines, so that they produce good grapes that absorb the special characteristics of the terroir and pass them on to the wine.
