Castello di Querceto is located in the middle of the characteristic Chianti landscape with its soft hills, olive groves and vineyards. The 200-hectare property has been in the François family since 1898. The family's commitment to quality and tradition has ensured that Castello di Querceto is one of Tuscany's most respected producers of Chianti wines for generations.

After a challenging period in the mid-20th century, the estate was revived by Alessandro François in 1978, who with his wife Maria Antonietta took wine production to new heights. Today, their children, Lia and Simone, continue the family legacy with the same passion and dedication. Castello di Querceto produces not only Chianti, but also a range of other wines, including Super Tuscans, white wine and spumante, all of which reflect Tuscany's rich wine tradition.
