Butler the Bear Chardonnay
This Buttler the Bear is a California Chardonnay wine with a distinctive and unique name – known for its smooth and creamy texture that makes it pleasant to drink.
The wine undergoes a careful production process to ensure a harmonious flavor profile. You should expect a full and rich taste with notes of tropical fruits such as pineapple and ripe peach. The wine also has subtle hints of vanilla and oak, which may be due to the aging in oak barrels. It has a pleasant and balanced acidity that contributes to its fresh character.
It can be enjoyed alone as an aperitif or paired with various dishes. Suitable for seafood, light meat, poultry and cream-based sauces.
About the Vinhuset
Scotto Family Wine Cellars represents a heritage that spans five generations and manages a family owned and operated winery. When your travels take you to Northern California, be sure to visit the Scotto family's exquisite tasting room in the heart of downtown Lodi.
Within the framework of Scotto Family Wine Cellars, significant partnerships have been established with some of California's most respected growers, such as the Fry Family with their Mohr-Fry Ranch Vineyard, and visionary wine connoisseur Ron Silva of Silvaspoons Vineyard located in Lodi's Alta Mesa -region. These family vineyards share a woven image of multi-generational heritage and an unwavering dedication to the art of producing exceptional wines.
Lodi, a place that extends beyond just an appellation, serves as the focal point of the Lodi AVA (American Viticultural Area), comprising over 100,000 acres dedicated to viticulture, confirming its position as one of the state's largest wine-producing regions. Daytime temperatures carry a cool hue, contrasting with the warmer vineyards to the south that stretch across the Central Valley. As the sun gradually sets, the temperature drops further, allowing the vines to recover from the day's ambient heat. This natural rhythm slows down the ripening process while preserving acidity – a characteristic of the fine wines that are created in this Mediterranean climate.
In addition, you should note the “LODI RULES” certification for sustainable viticulture. Originating in California, this pioneering program symbolizes a commitment to sustainable viticulture. LODI RULES certified growers form an innovative community dedicated to growing quality grapes. Their approach includes vineyard practices that unite environmental, social and economic goals.
