Buehler Vineyards Cabernet is a classic, broad-shouldered Napa Valley red wine. 30% of the grapes come from Buehler's own fields, and the rest from local vineyards that share the same high standard. The wine matures for 18 months in American and French oak barrels, resulting in a rich and fruity wine with lots of potential. Enjoy it slightly chilled for an optimal taste experience.

Scent: Dark plums, blackcurrants and blackberries dominate. Combined with notes of mocha, lavender, dried spices and a light hint of smoke.

Buehler Vineyards Cabernet is an excellent example of what Napa Valley has to offer in affordable yet high quality wines. The wine is made from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, of which 30% is grown on Buehler's own vineyard, and the rest comes from carefully selected vineyards in the area. Both Buehler's own fields and the external suppliers work under the same high standards to ensure consistent quality in each vintage.

David Cronin, the house winemaker since 1993, ferments the grapes on wood and lets the wine mature for 18 months in a mix of American and French oak barrels. This creates a charming and fruity wine with a dark red color and notes of plums, blackcurrants, blackberries and mocha. It is created to be enjoyed young, but also has development potential in the bottle.

Buehler Vineyards has a solid place at the top among the more affordable Napa Valley producers. Which is reflected in the high reviews from both Wine Spectator and Vinous, who award the wine 93 points. This is not a wine that will necessarily achieve the legendary 100 points, but it is an excellent choice for those who want Napa quality at a more affordable price.

Buehler Vineyards - Family Business Since 1971 Buehler Vineyards is a family-owned winery founded in 1971 by John and Helen Buehler. Located close to St. Helena, they rebuilt an old vineyard that had lain fallow since the Prohibition era. John Buehler, formerly retired from the Corps of Engineers, dedicated his time to reviving the property and creating what is today a well-regarded Napa Valley winery.

Since 1993, winemaker David Cronin, who came from Joseph Phelps, has continued the site's philosophy of minimalist intervention and natural production methods. Buehler Vineyards is particularly known for their Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel. Which offers great quality at an affordable price – a core value that has been in focus since the beginning.
