J. Moreau & Fils was founded in 1814 when a young man named Jean-Joseph Moreau settled in Chablis and married the daughter of a local wine merchant who inherited the oldest Chablis winery. Driven by a passion for the vine and respect for traditional values. He ran business with a master hand and quickly became one of the most important producers of Chablis. After initially being a pioneer in Chablis. Today, the winery is one of the largest and oldest producers of Chablis wines. Known for their great know-how and the style of the wines, which always reflect respect for the soil.
Over the years, J. Moreau & Fils has made a name for itself on the international market and has thus become a prestigious house that is recognized throughout the world. Today, it is sold in over 80 countries worldwide.
