This Nazionale Pale Ale from Birra Baladin is the first 100% Italian beer made with Italian ingredients. It is brewed on hops grown in Cussanio, just a few kilometers away from Baladin's brewery. It is a deliberately simple beer made with Italian water, barley malt, hops, yeast and the two Italian spices bergamot and coriander, which combine to create harmony and originality.
Nazionale is a beer brewed on more or less bold combinations, but more importantly it marks a turning point in Italian craft beer production.
This beer should be served at a temperature of 8-10 degrees. Nazionale is excellent as an aperitif and goes well with many different dishes.
