This Berrys Own Selection is from Glengoyne distillery, a whiskey distilled in the year 2000 and bottled in 2014. It comes from Cask Nr. #1074. Another fantastic glass from Berry Bros that is matured in a first fill Sherry cask and radiates with fig and brown orange peel notes in fruity and sweet notes that are well balanced with oak tannins that mix with syrup in a nice balance.

Glengoyne boasts of being the only distillery that does not use peated barley. Glengoyne is situated near the southern edge of the Trossachs, the distillery sits beautifully at the foot of Dumgoyne Hill, from which a 50ft waterfall cascades into the grounds.
Berry Bros. & Rudd can trace its origins back to 1698 when Twow Bourne established his shop opposite St James's Palace. Today, the current generation of Berrys and Rudds continue to manage the family store from 3 St James Street.
