Rum Nation 10 Years Barbados is a light and summery rum which is very easy to drink. With its herbs, it sits perfectly in the middle between the dry style of agricole rum and the sweeter Spanish rum style.

Traditionally, Barbados is called the "cradle of rum", as the oldest records of rum date from 1640 from this island. At that time rum was called "Kill devil" because it tasted so terrible. The Rum Nation series was launched in 1999

Family has a long tradition of importing and distributing Scotch whisky. In 1990, Fabio Rossi went to Scotland to visit distilleries, to taste casks and make some commercial deals: on some visits to whiskey broker agents, he discovered that there were several old casks of British Guyana and Jamaican rums, stacked together with single malts . From the Roman colonies, these rums were sent to Scotland and England for aging (in a fresher and milder climate that allowed for a more gradual maturation) and to be mixed with the so-called Navy Rums.
During these visits, the idea came to create the series Rum Nation. Fabio Rossi and his father Mario Jr. has since 1956 acquired whiskey and launched the single malt whiskey series Wilson & Morgan in 1992 and in 1999 the idea became a reality for the Rum Nation series
