Arione San Giorgio Moscato D'asti DOCG

Arione San Giorgio Moscato D'ASTI has a nice golden colour, with small fine bubbles that dance through the glass. A fresh fragrance that has a wide palette of flowers and citrus fruits. The taste is mild with sweetness that is nicely balanced by the fruit acidity. A good glass from northern Italy for an early glass, for desserts or as a welcome.

Scent: Fresh with a wide palette of flowers and citrus fruits.
Taste: Mild with a sweetness that is nicely balanced by the fruit acidity.
A good companion for: light desserts, or an early glass.
Serving temperature: 8-10°C.

At the manual harvest at the end of September, the grapes are fully ripe, healthy and of high quality. The grapes are placed in boxes that hold 20 kg to keep the bunches as intact as possible. The vinification takes place according to the most modern principles at a low controlled temperature, which preserves the characteristic aroma of the Muscat grape in the final wine. The wine is stored chilled in stainless steel tanks before it is bottled.

Wine house:

Moscato dAsti comes from the wine district of Asti, in the Piedmont region of northwestern Italy. Many different grapes grow in this corner, but only Moscato is used for this glorious dessert wine. The area is otherwise very well known for their red wines and both Barolo and Barbaresco are produced nearby.

The lands are 100% planted with the grape variety Moscato Bianco, which is the Italian version of the distinguished Muscat Blanc à Petit Grains.
