Alpha Omega Chardonnay 2021 from Napa Valley is a masterpiece created under the ideal conditions that the 2021 vintage offered. After a winter of late rains and a perfect growing season in the spring, the grapes developed an impressive flavor profile and high acidity early on. The grapes were harvested at the end of August with exceptional balance and moderate brix levels.

The wine is made from 100% Chardonnay, fermented in French oak barrels, of which 33% were new. It matured for 19 months with periodic stirring of the yeast, which adds a richer and fuller character to the wine. The partial malolactic fermentation further contributes to the wine's complex flavor profile.

The grapes are sourced from the cool sub-regions of Carneros, Mount Veeder and Coombsville in southern Napa Valley, with each vineyard adding its own unique characteristics to the finished wine. The result is a Chardonnay that captures the essence of Napa Valley with its complex aroma and flavor profile, making Alpha Omega Chardonnay 2021 a wine that stands out.

About the Manufacturer

Alpha Omega Winery, located in the heart of Napa Valley, California, was founded by Robin and Michelle Baggett in 2006. After founding Tolosa Winery in San Luis Obispo in 1998, Robin wanted to explore the unique terroir of Napa Valley. Alpha Omega owns fields in Rutherford, including the state-of-the-art Thomas Vineyard and the eponymous Alpha Omega 1155 Vineyard, which grows Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon.
