AH Riise Royal Danish Navy Frigate Jylland, is an exclusive edition of Danish Navy Rum. It is the old apothecary's methods that are used to this day to create this rum. Developed from plants that AH Riise collected on and around the Danish West Indian islands.

Scent: Very dark and intense with aromas of cigar boxes, caramel and chocolate with a "greener" layer on top of grass and mint
Taste: It starts very mild, then comes delicious notes with pineapple and honeydew melon and a little banana that mixes with milk chocolate in delicious harmony.
Aftertaste: A shot of orange crunch followed by a slightly spicy finish.

The frigate Jylland has close historical ties to the former Danish West Indies islands. In the years 1871-1887, the ship was on five voyages to the West Indies to represent Danish interests. The frigate Jylland, the world's longest wooden ship, the pride of the Danish fleet, former royal ship – a Danish national treasure. About the Manufacturer:

The first Pharmacy at Skt. Thomas became a Cand. Pharm Albert Heinrich Riise, who by royal decree in 1838 was given the privilege to run a pharmacy in the capital of the Danish West Indies, Charlotte Amalie. AH Riise originally came from Ærø, where he was born on 11 September 1810 in Brogade no. 28 in Ærøskøbing, as the son of a merchant who was also a captain (Jens Christian Riise)

After graduation, in Copenhagen, at the Kgl. Vajsenhus Apotek, AH Riise left for the West Indies, where on 27 January 1842 he was married in Frederikssted on St. Croix to Heriette Marie Worm. In their 40th year, the 2 spouses lived a rare happy life and raised 13 children together. The following year in 1843, AH Riise built St. Thomas Apotek at the address Dronningensgade no. 6 in Charlotte Amalie.
