Talisker Special Release 2023 is a complete Talisker whiskey with powerful and rich flavor nuances. Bottled at its natural cask strength of 59.7% ABV, this whiskey presents a remarkable taste experience. It is matured in a combination of ruby, white and tawny port casks which add rounded and fruity notes to the whisky.

When tasting, the palate encounters a sweet fruitiness from white grapes and black fruits, which together with dry tannins create a unique taste experience. The whiskey overflows with warmth and a sweet, charred undertone. All the while the memory of sea spray hitting the bow of the ship awakens the memory of voyages of discovery in the hearts of the sailors.

Talisker Special Release 2023 pays tribute to the ships of the Portuguese explorers and their maritime heritage by being finished in a combination of Ruby, White and Tawny port casks. This whisky, with its clear golden color, exudes sea air, notes of oyster shells, salt and sand dunes, supported by a spicy and smoky undertone.

Selected to illustrate the fantastic packaging design, as well as inspire the liquid selection and barrel treatment.
