Vista Alegre 30 Year Tawny Port

Vista Alegre 30 years Tawny port is from selected wines that have several years of aging behind them with an average age of 30 years. Made from Touriga National, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Amarela, Sousao, Tinta Barroca and Tinta Cao grapes. Grapes from under the regions of Baxio Corgo and Cima Corgo, the planet of old vineyards and terraces with different exposures and altitude.

Vinification: Traditional port wine method, with careful crushing with partial stemming and alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature and stopped by the addition of wine spirits. It's all monitored by the oenology team, which takes into account the grape varieties and their degree of ripeness and the desired sweetness.

Server for: As an aperitif, with coffee, foie gras, rich and intense cheeses, nuts, cakes and countless desserts, dried fruit and caramel.

Serving and storage: Port wine is a natural product, which is why there may be deposits in the bottle. Make sure it doesn't become cloudy when serving by pouring quietly. Serve it cellar cold. When storing, ensure even temperature and away from light.

Vista Alegre:

Portugal.The port house is owned by the Cunha Barros family, who have been deeply involved in port wine production for four generations. Quinta Vista Alegre is located deep in the Douro Valley near the town of Pinhao. The vineyards cover an area of approx. 55 hectares planted with the region's best grape varieties. Old vines, some of which are close to 100 years old. The old Lagars are still used, where the grapes are trodden with bare feet for several hours to get the best quality.

The family also owns the old Quinta Valle Longo and 2 other properties.
