Wemyss A Midsummer Meadow 14 years aged in Hogshead oak casks and released in limited quantities of 267 bottles.

Scent: Delicious ripe summer berries with sweet caramels and vanilla with fresh notes of white grapes and apricots.
Taste: Lovely light and sweet with coconut mixed with almonds with a hint of cornfield.
Aftertaste: Long in dry style and very prominent.

Midsummer Meadow is released non-chill filtered and at a cask strength of 62.6 % ABV

Wemyss Malts is run by siblings William and Isabella Wemyss, and mainly consists of two series of independent bottlings:

Core Collection:
Core Collection is the heart of Wemyss Malts. The series consists of three blended malt releases, each of which expresses different schools of Scotch whisky. Peat Chimney are heavily smoked and salty. Spice King is spicy and complex. The Hive is honey-sweet and fruity. All three releases come in beautifully designed gift boxes.

Single Cask Collection:
Single Cask Collection is a series of single cask bottlings from some of Scotland's finest distilleries. The releases are poetically named after the associations that the taste gives and each release only comes in very small numbers.

Wemyss Family Spirits

Wemyss (Pronounced “Wims”) is the Scottish Gaelic word for “caves” – the name can be traced back to the Scottish family which in ancient times had its seat at Wemyss Castle in the kingdom of Fife. This fearsome castle is located atop an ancient cave system.
Wemyss Family Spirits was founded by siblings William and Isabella Wemyss, based in the Fife region of the Scottish Lowlands. Since 2014, the family has run their own malt whiskey distillery in the form of Kingsbarns Lowland distillery.

Glentauchers:

Distillery located in the Speyside region. This relatively small region of the Scottish Highlands has an absolutely massive concentration of whiskey distilleries. The region is known for producing whiskey with flavors of ripe fruit, honey and mild cigar smoke.
Glentauchers is a relatively anonymous distillery. This is because the distillery is not open to visitors, and that there are only a few official releases of single malt from the distillery. The vast majority of Glentuacher's production goes to blended whisky. However, from time to time you will find their whiskey from independent bottlings.
