El Bochorno Blanc from the Macabeo grape shows what the Rioja area can also make fresh and delicious white wines.
Fragrance: Fresh with mint and lemon zest with green apples.
Taste: Light and juicy where almonds mix with citrus and flowers.
Server for: Enjoy it chilled with seafood and light fish dishes or as an aperitif.
The Rioja wine region in northern Spain is best known for their red wines. The name Rioja comes from the river Oja, i.e. Rio Oja. For many, the wines from Rioja are still the symbol of the old and classic Spanish wines, which are full-bodied and, above all, have a distinctive aroma. The area's white wines actually make up less than 10 % of the production.

Bodegas del Mundo has a long history behind it in the world of wine. The family business actually has over 125 years of experience in the industry. Today, the 5th generation is responsible for production. The wines are produced by the Martinez Bujanda family in the Rioja region, which is approximately two hours' drive from Madrid in a north-easterly direction. Bodegas Del Mundo takes pride in being a wine producer that works exclusively with grapes from its own vineyards. The fact that it is only their own grapes gives them complete control over everything from harvest time to bottling.
