Fable 7 years 2022 Batch Two is a Blended malt that offers Islay smoke, but with a nice and harmonious company of malt from the Highland and Speyside region. This gives the whiskey several sides that challenge one's taste experience. It can be enjoyed neat or in a Whiskey Sour where the light smoke will play perfectly.
Composed of "Clanyard", "Crows" and "Moon" - so in other words it is Caol Ila, Blair Athol and Glen Elgin distilleries.
Tasting notes from Sprit & Co.'s whiskey ambassador, Tommy Oddmar Seilen:
Scent: Fresh malt, light smoke, heather honey and vanilla.
Taste: White pepper, elegant smoke, citrus and Short Bread.
Aftertaste: The smoke transitions more into peat notes, English licorice, mocha and finally rounded off with creamy malt sweetness.
