Doorly's 12 year Fine Old Barbados Rum
Doorly's 12 years Fine Old, is fully aged for 12 years in small American white oak barrels. A complex rum with delicate aromas that is simply enjoyed. Like other rums from Foursquare, it is a mixture of pot still rum (approx. 10%) and column distilled rum (approx. 90%).
About the Distillery:
Martin Doorly founded the rum brand Doorly's in the early 1920s. He made several rums and several of them were named after him. In 1992 Martin Doorly Rum was sold to RL SEALE.
The distillery where Doorley's rum is mixed and stored is at The Foursquare Plantation which is around 350 years old and the oldest records of the distillery suggest that the special rum-wine mill associated with the molasses distillery has been in production since 1730.
The distillery was completely renovated in 1995 and appears today as a mix between history and new technology. At the same time, rum production on site has been declared 100% environment correct.
