A port wine tasting where we look forward to welcoming Camilla Uhre Pedersen from Lago, the Danish importer of the legendary port house Vista Alegre. On this special evening, Camilla will take us through a tasting journey with some of the finest port wines from Quinta da Vista Alegre.

Quinta da Vista Alegre is located in beautiful Pinhão, on the banks of the Douro River. With a south-facing location at an altitude of around 250 metres, this area creates the ideal conditions for producing world-class port wine. The 60 hectares of vineyards are home to noble grape varieties such as Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz, and the oldest vineyards are over 100 years old. Since 1932, the grapes have been classified as “A” by Casa do Douro, which underlines their excellent quality.

During the tasting we will enjoy a selection of Vista Alegre's finest port wines. Camilla will share her insight and passion for port wine as we explore the different flavor nuances together and learn about Quinta da Vista Alegre's rich history and traditional wine production.

Join us for this exciting evening and experience the magic of the Douro River through Vista Alegre's exceptional port wines. This is a unique opportunity to taste and learn about some of the best port wines.

Where and when does the event take place?

The event will be held on 21 November 2024 and will take place between 19:00 and 22:00
This tasting is held in our own premises at Jernbanegade 23, 6580 Vamdrup. (150 m from Vamdrup Station, where there is a connection by both train and bus)

How is the event going?

The purpose of the tasting is to create the setting for a pleasant evening - where we will taste and enjoy a lot of different port wine together.
A tasting chart will be handed out on the evening, so you have the opportunity to rate the various port wines. And hopefully find your own favorite hero on the night.

When ordering via the website, the Order Confirmation will act as a ticket for the evening.

Ticket price: 429.75 (Early Bird Price 379.75)
Ticket: The order confirmation will act as a ticket and must be presented either physically or digitally for the tasting.
When: The event will be held on Thursday 21 November 2024 and starts at 19:00
Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to explore our shop and make a good deal in the evening.
Where: This tasting is held in our own premises. Jernbanegade 23, 6580 Vamdrup
Language: The evening's tasting will take place in Danish.
Regret: According to the "Act on certain consumer agreements § 17 subsection 2 cf. § 9 subsection 2 no. 2a", the purchase of tickets is not covered by the right of cancellation. Purchased tickets are therefore not returned and are only refunded if the event is cancelled.

We reserve the right to cancel the event if there are less than 20 participants. If the event is cancelled, the ticket price will of course be refunded.
